Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is best known for her role as actress Violet Plunkett, in CBS' sitcom Mom. As a California born, Calvano was initially interested in gymnastics competition. Then, she chose to be an actor. Her first screen appearance was in 2010 in a segment of CBS show 'NCIS'. In the crime drama biographical movie J Edgar, she made her debut on the big screen just a few months later. She was one of the most talented young actors in the industry throughout the decades. Her performance as 'NCIS, has been nominated by the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance of a TV Series featuring an Guest Actress between the ages of 11-15. The year 2013 saw Calvano nominated once again for the Young Artist Award. This is for her role on the Disney XD show 'Kickin' It'. Calvano was an integral part of the cast of 'Mom' in its the first three seasons. She also was a frequent guest on Season 4. She won the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her performance in Mom.
