Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American TV and film actress. She is most famous for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. In addition, she is famous as the main character in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin began her acting career at the age of was seven years old. She was a niece of her aunt who was the nanny for actor Michael Landon's children, helped her land a small role on the television series Father Murphy. After graduating from Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed significant roles both on the small and the large screen. Martin has a background as an actor in addition to a gifted dancer and photographer, has been working in the field for over 20 years. She is a mother of two. Martin is the spokesperson for the nation for Lupus and has been informing people about the illness after her sister passed away from it at just 19.
