
Miller was the main actor in Stephen Schwartz's celebrated production of "Pippin" which ran on Broadway. Diane Paulus won the Tony Award at the 67th annual Tony Awards for Best Revival of a Musical. "Pippin", a musical starring Matthew James Thomas with Andrea Martin, Terrence Man, Matthew James Thomas as well director Diane Paulus. Patina did a great job of putting a modern twist on a role originated by the award-winning actor Ben Vereen and mastered the Fosse moves that the production is based on so much. Patina received a Tony Award for Best Performance by an actress in the Leading Role within a Musical, and an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical and also Drama League, Fred and Adele Astaire Award and Broadway.com Audience Choice Award nominations for the performances. In December 2012 through December 2012, she played the Leading Player of the American Repertory Theater's production Pippin. Miller made her Broadway debut in the 2011 Broadway season as the gutsy nightclub-singer-turned-nun "Deloris Van Cartier" in the stage adaptation of "Sister Act", which earned her first Tony nomination, as well as Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations for her performance.
